Great flags and equipment

Initially I installed a Valley Forge adjustable flag holder that I bought at Lowe's. It worked fine and was well made. But, several weeks later we had an extremely windy rain storm--my place is on a waterfront location in Maine. The wind was gusting and the next thing I knew the aluminum flag bracket had snapped. I bought this one because it is stainless steel and it is extremely sturdy. I expect that it will last many years. It is exactly what I was looking for.

We have a house facing the ocean, and every year I need to replace our flag holder. The plastic ones fall apart from sunlight, and the screws rust on the metal ones. I just purchased this one, solid stainless steel, and ordered a second one. Instead of a thumb screw, it comes with a screw that requires a square bit to tighten. A minor inconvenience.

SOLID, EASY, STRONG. Easy to install. We have gone through SO many holders. We fly our flags Daily and constantly need to replace holders. These haven't budged. A high wind storm knocked down trees this week and our flags stayed strong. These are heavy duty embroidered 4x6 flags. Should have been taken down but we're forgotten. I was concerned the angle wasn't right but it's perfect. Even the screw to stabilize pole is heavy duty. WELL DONE!
