Government Specification Flags (G-spec)
Government Specification Flags are a little different than you everyday US Flag. One example is their flag sizes have a ratio of 1.9
Common US Flag you normally see have very bright white stripes and headings. This is not to government code but more of what the customers like. Even the sizes sold are not to ratio. Common sizes are 2 × 3 feet or 4 × 6 feet (flag ratio 1.5), 2.5 × 4 feet or 5 × 8 feet (1.6), or 3 × 5 feet or 6 × 10 feet (1.667). Even flags flown over the U.S. Capital use the wrong sizes and color. Flags that are made to the prescribed 1.9 ratio are often referred to as "G-spec" (for "government specification") flags.
